Who makes Funky Peach Bags?
I do — I'm Amanda Yonce, and I cut and sew every bag myself in South Carolina. There is no factory and no team. Each bag is made one at a time, so no two come out quite the same.
What are the bags made of?
Printed cotton denim — 11oz, which is what makes the bags hold their shape, resist dirt and keep the print vivid. The prints are Spoonflower fabric, and the insides are lined with cotton canvas.
What sizes do the bags come in?
Mini tote: 10″ wide × 10″ high × 3″ deep. Crossbody handbag: 12″ × 12″. Large crossbody tote: 15″ × 15″ × 4″. Medium tote: 14″ × 18″ × 5″. Large tote: 18″ × 15″ × 5″. Travel pillow bag: 20.5″ × 30″. Each bag's own page lists its exact measurements.
How long are the straps?
The crossbody styles have a 54″ adjustable strap, 1.5″ wide, which adjusts to roughly a 24″–52″ drop depending on the style. The totes have fixed 26″ shoulder straps with a 13″ drop.
How do I clean a canvas bag?
Spot clean with a gentle soap and cool water, then hang it to dry. A low iron is fine if it needs one. Don't put it in the washing machine or the tumble dryer — that's what ruins the shape and the print.
Can I order a bag in a fabric I choose myself?
Yes. That's the Design Your Bag option. You pick any print from spoonflower.com, choose a size, and paste the link to your print at checkout. Allow up to 14 days for a custom bag. Custom orders can't be returned.
How much does a custom bag cost?
It depends on the size: mini tote $40, crossbody handbag $58, large crossbody $70, large crossbody with a zipper $82, large tote $100. A custom interior fabric is an extra $15, invoiced separately after you order. Mixing several prints on the outside of one bag can add up to $35, so message me before ordering if that's what you want.
Which fabric prints work best on a bag?
Check the print's scale against the size of the bag you're ordering — Spoonflower shows a ruler view for every print. Jumbo and large-scale prints often don't display well on the smaller bags. I also don't recommend prints that are mostly white, because the denim is a bag that gets used.
How much do the bags cost?
At full price, bags are $40 to $100 depending on the style and size, and anything currently on sale is marked lower. Every bag shows its own price, and whether it's in stock, on its own page. Gift cards start at $25.
Why is a bag I liked marked sold out?
Because I sew each bag individually, a listing covers a small number of that print — often just one. I sew these styles continuously and bring new bags to every market, so it's worth looking through the shop again or coming to find me at a show.
Where can I buy the bags in person?
I sell at craft markets and vintage shows across South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee — including Columbia, West Columbia, Charleston, High Point NC, Lake Lure NC and Bristol TN. My full schedule, with dates and venues, is on the markets page.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is free on every order within the United States. The price you see on the bag is the price you pay at checkout — there is nothing added at the end.
How quickly will my bag be posted?
Orders are mailed within 48 hours. I sew and pack these myself, so your bag goes out within two days of you ordering it.
Can I return a bag?
Returns are not accepted. Every bag is sewn individually, so please check the size and the fabric on the product page before ordering — the measurements are listed on every bag, and I answer questions about sizes and prints myself at funkypeachbags@gmail.com.
How do I pay?
Checkout runs on Square, which takes cards and Google Pay. You don't need an account to buy.
